University Neighborhood Special District

Rental and Owner Occupied properties. This map, displaying owner-occupied and rental properties in the East University area, is prepared by the Office of Government and Community Relations at Syracuse University. It is updated every six months.

1924 Maps of the University Neighborhood

North of Campus. This map shows the area north of Syracuse University up to East Genesee; it is bordered by Almond on the west to Ostrom on the east. (3.3 meg)

Thornden Park. This map shows all of Thornden Park, then north to East Genesee; from Ostrom on the west to Cumberland on the east. (3.3 meg)

Southeast of SU. Most of the SEUNA neighborhood is here. This map covers the area south of Thornden Park down to Meadowbrook, from the SU campus on the west to Nottingham on the east. (3.3 meg)

Ordinance establishing the University Neighborhood Services Agreement. Under this 1993 ordinance, SU agreed to provide a minimum of $250,000 each year to "address the special impacts upon neighborhoods" near the university for a period of ten years. The agreement can be extended for two additional 10 year terms upon the written consent of the parties
